Batch Out (“Batchout,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, payment processing, merchant services, and related financing solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit batchout.com (the “Site”) or use our products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

1) Information we collect

– Identifiers & contact data: name, email, phone, postal address, business name, EIN/TIN (where provided), device identifiers, IP address.

– Commercial & financial information: merchant category, transaction data, settlement/batch totals, refund/chargeback information, pricing and fee data, equipment orders.

– Verification data: government IDs (where permitted/required), bank account and routing numbers (tokenized where possible), KYC/KYB and AML screening data from service providers.

– Usage data & cookies: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, referral URLs, analytics (see Cookies Policy).

– Support content: messages, call recordings (with notice), and device logs when you contact support.

2) How we use information

– To provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including payment processing and POS features).

– To underwrite and provide merchant cash advance / financing and to service those agreements.

– For fraud, security, and AML monitoring and legal compliance (PCI DSS, KYC/KYB).

– To communicate about accounts, updates, and marketing (you can opt out of marketing any time).

– To analyze usage, personalize content, and develop new features.

– To comply with laws, enforce terms, and protect rights.

3) Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK only)

We process personal data under GDPR on the bases of contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent (for optional cookies/marketing).

4) Sharing of information

– Payment networks, acquiring banks, gateways, processors, and sponsors to run card transactions and settlements.

– Verification/AML vendors for identity, sanctions, and risk screening.

– Service providers (hosting, CRM, analytics, customer support, shipping) under contracts that restrict their use of data.

– Business partners/integrations you enable (e.g., delivery platforms, accounting/payroll).

– Corporate transactions (merger, financing, acquisition) subject to appropriate safeguards.

– Law enforcement and regulators as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We may share for cross‑context behavioral advertising only with your consent.

5) International transfers

If you are outside the U.S., your data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different laws. Where required, we use approved transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs).

6) Retention

We retain information as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal/contractual obligations (e.g., AML and card network rules). We then delete or anonymize it.

7) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing.

– California/CPRA: rights to know, delete, correct, opt‑out of sharing for targeted advertising, and limit use of sensitive data.

8) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including PCI DSS‑aligned controls, encryption in transit, tokenization of card data via our processors, access controls, and monitoring. No method is 100% secure.

9) Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect such data.

10) Changes

We may update this Policy. We will post the new date and, where material, provide notice. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Policy.
